Common questions

Why do you need a Paratext ID and ISO code?

They let us confirm that the request comes from a registered translation project and identify the language correctly, so the free book goes to genuine projects and isn't claimed twice.

What counts as one book?

One book of Scripture, such as the Gospel of Mark.

What if my project can't be verified?

We can't offer the free book, but we're still happy to quote for the work based on its scope.

The free first book is available only to projects with a verified Paratext project ID and ISO 639-3 language code. Fees for further work are confirmed in writing before work begins. All services are subject to our Terms of Use.
